Kind of a lazy day. I'm not sure I'll go out today. I thought I would have a look at an old railway line turned into a trail but I hate overcast days. I think I'l stay here and see if I can get a shine on my old chrome/aluminum/Formica table, draw a platform bed, and look at interior and furniture design magazines.

  3. No, no, no, not ugly at all. Probably made at the end of the Art Deco era. Maybe late 40s, or early 50s. Beautiful bus. Good one Doug.

  4. I had more time when I shot it, and I was able to get closer, jj. I wonder if anyone would notice if I jumped the fence for a better look :-)

  6. Thanks, jj. The bus gets all the credit, I was just passing by on my bike :-)

  7. I like the big "eyes" of the bus in the first photo...rather eerie.

  9. Sort of like a dried out caterpillar, S :-)

First it would have to be converted from an insect and varmint home, Burst :-) It would make a far out RV. Modern drive train, polished aluminum body, oh yeah...

  10. I remember! Yes, I love photos like this: sure, there are ugly relics of industrial past around, but to me the very act of their deteriorating makes them inderesting.

  11. I could likely spend a half hour (at least) photographing this bus, Simon.
