Shadowing your footsteps

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I brought home one of my bikes from the other place today. It needs work. The gears won't change because the cables are stretched and everything needs to be lubed. I did ride it home, however, once I managed to pump 50 PSI into the flat tires. It is the newer of my two cheap bikes. I'll bring home the other one tomorrow. I'm looking forward to riding about the city and getting some cardio and a bit of lung capacity back. Gotta take it easy at first, though. No steep hills just yet.

  1. Great photo. And isn't it great when the snow melts and the bike can come out? Enjoy the ride.

  2. Thanks, S. I'll let you know how the riding goes, I haven't rode in a long time, and smoked that whole time ;-)

  4. I loved that photo!

As for the bike, they just don't make seats big enough anymore for my rump!! I'll stick to the saddle on the horse :)

Thanks, S! I don't believe you, of course, I think you'd look just fine on a bike.

  7. Love the photo with the shades of the stairs.
Given up riding my bikes as even the flat bits seem to be uphill these days!

  9. Thank you, stu.
I plan on easing my way back into bike riding, for sure.

Thank you, Burst! I wish I could have gotten a bit closer (and avoided the foliage), but I liked the light.

  10. This stirs up some lovely feelings for me. Thank you for sharing. I love the shadow world as there is much experimentation you can do. I find it fascinating all the different silhouettes that objects become when splashed across walls in this way.
