  3. Lol, I have to laugh at Moko's comment! You are right on Doug! Lol.

These pics are awesome!! They look different than what I am used to seeing. Everything is desert camo here, but I miss the OD green!!

  5. Just look at that long, hard tank gun, M :-O
We have a few desert camo ones here, but they're not common.

Thanks, CM! I have a few more :-)

  7. As always, your posts hit close to home. Didn't know if you knew, but I'm back in the Army now. I gave up the chance to be an officer for the thrill of being a journalist. I'm sure you won't find this very shocking ;)

  8. I should have taken a tour myself, Burst, but it was awfully busy arounf the tank :-)

Bree, it doesn't surprise me that you would rather have the relative freedom of a journalist than the stifling confines of an officer.
    ;-)

  9. Once again, great photos Doug...even though the subject matter brings back some unpleasant memories for me. Not your fault though :-)

  10. The military isn't all keg parties and USO shows, I understand that, jj...

  11. Whoa, Doug. Sounds as if I hit a nerve of some sort...didn't mean to. That was meant as criticism of any sort. What I was referring to was my experience in S.E. Asia. You couldn't have known about that. Any thing military, brings it all back...that's all. Sorry, bro.

  12. Rocky Mountain House used to have these types of vehicles in town all the time! Back then, I had a thing for British military (seems so long ago now!)
    Nice shots.

  13. JJ, no,its all good. I did not know exactly what you meant, I was just saying that not all military experiences are good. I hope I did not offend YOU.

    Were good, jj.

  15. Absolutely not offended in any way bro. This is why I hate the written word...without the nuances of facial expressions and voice tone, things can get misinterpreted real easy. Sorry I misunderstood.
