Tyler and I had an absolute blast tonight at the Toucan. There was about 14 of us, with lots of carrying on, picture taking and good, unclean fun. I will have pics to put up later, I haven't even looked at them yet.

I have been playing with Windows 7 Beta and IE 8. There are a few issues to work through, but I like it better than the Vista Beta I used last year.

  1. I'm waiting for my copy of Vista Home Premium X64.
I have X32 and am NOT installing it.
    It's like putting a 4cylinder in a Mustang that was built for a V-8.

  2. I only have 32bit procs. One of these days I`ll build a new rig.

  4. *Sigh* you've found my third love - Used Book Stores. Chocolate and sex being the first two - of course.

  5. Yep, I admit to being a bit geeky, Lerm :-)

I can get lots of those, Lou :-)

Well, heck, B, c'mon up and we'll browse the book stores while eating chocolate...

  6. I think I'm downloading Mozilla today. I am so sick of IE. I've been having major issues.

  7. I have Firefox, GE, but I was using it mainly so I could log into two different JS blogs. I don't have those problems anymore, so I don't use it now.

IE8 is a whole 'nother animal, and I don't recommend it.

  8. I recognize the bookstore from a picture you posted some time ago. The fact that beta versions of Windows 7 are floating around tell you a lot about Vista. It's kind of like the software equivalent of the Titanic.

  9. W7 seems a bit snappier, e-p-n, but IE8 is compliant with web standards now, which means it doesn't work with the web that was coded for IE6-7
