Tipped skater, slanted light

That's how I skated last time I tried...

It was getting late in the afternoon when I took this. I think B&W makes a difference in this one.

  1. Those are great! I agree, I think b&w for the second one really makes it pop. :-) That would make a great Christmas card.... hint hint! ;-)

  5. I loved to skate! It was a winter past time for me long ago.

Out on the farm pond not too far from my childhood home was where I skated, frequently. :)

Your 2nd photo is great with that b and w!

  6. I skated a lot when I was a kid on the paper mill pond. I was pretty good at it. The last time I tried I was about 22 and thought I was going to break and ankle. I think I would try it again. though if my last rollerskating adventure says anything I should just stick to walking.

  8. No one is going to get ME on skates, Elin :-)

You should find a rink, Judy. They must have those down there :-) Thanks!

I might try rollerblading, Lubie, but I anticipate the same results as ice skating ;-)

    Thanks, Sue.
    More practice :-)

  10. We have to shovel before we can skate. I'm better on roller skates. Cool pics.

Hi, Barb. Thanks! Lots of shovelling going on here, but not by me, by golly.
