There is a storage yard/warehouse complex about a mile north of where i live that contains an ancient city bus that i swear was once in service in knoxville. in the early 80s i rode the bus a lot and recognized the make right off. i should go snap a few pics of it. you've inspired me with your bus picture.
Yes, the bus one looks good. If it had been just in the middle of a scrapyard somewhere it wouldn’t have been special, but there’s something about finding such relics in locations like that that makes them more interesting.
I used to like wandering around taking photos of the remains of now decaying industrial sites, some overgrown for a century or more – old railways or mines; places like that. Once nature has reclaimed them they acquire an almost romantic appeal.
I so love the bus. I'm taking my camera to work tomorrow to shoot one there. Not this cool, but it's worth a shot or two. The plexi profile is perfect. xo
I was almost forty when I got my first PC, but that was a long time ago. I consider myself to be computer literate and web savvy. I have written more poetry and prose since October 05 than in all my life before then. That does not make me a writer, unfortunately.

The bus would make an interesting series!
I lurrve yellow! And I adore the bus shot.
The bus looks a little like how I feel after a massive night out. Love the sunlight on the shed - soothing
I think this is a picture of me taken at 3am early last sunday morning, except the light makes this bus look golden

Winter feels gross. *hugs* Like your Pics though. They make me feel good. :)
There are one or two 60s buses here, Mary, but that one must be from the late 40early 50s. I want to see that bus :-)
It's on private property, Kate, but I have this telephoto lens...
Thanks, S-D!
It was getting softer by the minute, Lerm. I'm glad I caught it.
Now, F-B, you are golden.
I don't know why it was segregated, Simon, unless they thought they might need a whole section for buses. It really is all by itself there.
Thanks, SS_S. Hugs back.

I'll look forward to it, Barb. And thanks :-)
